Four Elements herbal farm, E 8964 Weinke Rd, N. Freedon, WI, will welcome MAMGA members & guests for a tour and shopping on Wed. July 19, 2017 10:30am - Noon.  David Stevens, co-owner of Four Elements with Jane Hawley Stevens, will be our tour guide.  David is the Curator of the Longenecker Horticultural Gardens at the University of Wisconsin in Madison,  The cost is $10 per person payable upon arrival at Four Elements.  Directions to the farm are on the website:  It's about 55 miles from Madison.  The trip earns one hour of educational credit.

David will describe the history of Four Elements, discuss the elements of organic soil building, show the group the Chakra Garden and the retail production field.  A tractor-pulled wagon ride through a prairie includes an explanation of the ecology of the area & the Baraboo bluff tops.

After the tour, you are invited to visit the retail shop that features many Four Elements Organic Herbal products and greenhouses where the Stevens' grow rare and medicinal herbs.

We plan to stop at the Blue Spoon, 550 Water Street in Prairie du Sac for lunch 12:45pm after the tour.
Please let us know if you plan to join the group for lunch when you register for the tour.  Information is at:

We need to know if you will drive on your own or meet at the Park & Ride at 9:20am, to carpool to Four Elements farm.  The Park & Ride is 1 mile past the Bruce Company on Parmenter street right next to the Middleton Recycling Center.

It should be a fun day and we hope you can share it with our MAMGA group.
